The combination of elegance and minimalism not only characterises my stationery, but runs through my entire life. To some, these two aspects may sound contradictory, but for me they create the perfect harmony. Understated yet striking, down-to-earth yet extravagant.
As a qualified product designer and certified project manager, I’ll support and advise you in finding a stationery design that’s perfectly tailored to the overall concept of your wedding. It’s the little things that make the big picture perfect. For me, there are no better tools than the combination of digital technology and craftsmanship. With great dedication and attention to detail, I’ll guide you every step of the way – from the initial consultation through the creation of initial designs right through to your final, high-quality stationery.
My journey into wedding stationery.
My love of stationery began when I started to bring together all the skills and passions I had developed in my profession over the last few years.
Design – Consultancy – Craftsmanship – Love
I’ve always been a very creative person; I started painting at an early age, worked as a waitress to afford my first SLR camera, and taught myself to use various software tools that allowed me to give free rein to my creativity.
This made me realise just how much I love working digitally and visually, and I began my professional career in media design as a digital product designer by studying at Ravensburg-Weingarten University of Applied Sciences. Design allows you to express so much. Different typefaces, design elements and colours open up an incredible variety of creative possibilities – whether the design is meant to convey modernity, tradition, classicism or playfulness – I have a special flair and eye for combining these design elements in such a way that they achieve the desired effect.
Alongside my digital work, I am also an artist and specialise in abstract painting – both in personal projects and through commissioned work. This results in unique pieces full of texture, depth and emotion. This artistic experience also shapes my wedding stationery: I have a trained eye for composition, the effect of colour and subtle details – and that is precisely what makes my stationery so special.
As creative as I am, working with people is just as close to my heart. I love offering advice and developing creative concepts that evoke emotion.
I’m originally from Bad Saulgau in southern Germany and now spend a lot of time travelling between Vienna, Stuttgart and my home town – both for work and in my private life.
Through my role as a team leader and expert in digital product design at a consultancy and software development firm, I have been able to gain experience across a wide range of industries and company sizes over the past few years, whilst constantly improving myself and my work and broadening my horizons.
Alongside this highly dynamic and digital work, I love working with my hands and having something tangible to hold at the end of the day. I find paper incredibly fascinating; the surface, weight and texture of a sheet of paper make such a huge difference to the overall effect when you hold it in your hands. Added to this are the many printing and finishing options, such as gold foil stamping, wax seals and so on, which turn a sheet of paper into something truly special.
And then there’s love – for me, the most beautiful thing in the world, because love achieves so much and brings people together.
All these aspects combined make bespoke wedding stationery something truly special to me.
